Managing Partner Ibrahim has grown up around SMEs, joining his father’s business at a young age. He completed an MBA at INSEAD before joining McKinsey’s Milan office and their Organization Practice. Ibrahim re-joined the family business alongside his brother Khaled, where they successfully grew the business tenfold and successfully sold it over a 10 year period. Ibrahim then completed another Masters at Stanford where he learned about Search Funds.
Born into a family that owned and operated two SMEs, Carlos was always drawn to the family business. He studied engineering and completed an MBA at INSEAD, going on to work for multinationals such as McKinsey, drawing a wealth of knowledge before returning to the world of SME where his heart lay. He raised funds personally to acquire a real estate SME which under his leadership grew successfully until he put a succession programme into place.
Besides successfully managing his family’s business and joint venture with Döhler Group alongside his brother Ibrahim, Khaled has 13 years of operational experience in various turnarounds and restructurings, specializing in operational and financial management, optimization, and digitization with a passion for problem solving. He has led numerous M&As representing both the buy & sell sides for companies across Europe, Asia and Africa.
